2014 was awesome. One of the best years of my life – and I wouldn’t say this lightly. 2014 will always be the year when I could realize my dream and become a published writer. It’s the year I learned that dreams can come true with hard work, help of amazing people and a pinch of luck.
- Hard Work as in: 6 years of writing, a failed self-publishing attempt and still I kept on writing
- Help of Amazing people: You can never do it completely alone. You need the help of awesome people around you who can help you with things that are not your forté. Don’t be too proud to accept help. If it’s a sign for something then it’s a sign of maturity, of accepting that you can’t and shouldn’t do everything by yourself
- a pinch of luck: I didn’t think that the Kriegssinfonie will ever be published. I just assumed that it will be the next project. And then my fabulous publisher came completely out of the blue and suddenly dream became reality
So me recipe for 2015 is remaining the same. Stay creative, work hard to realize even more dreams, be open to suggestions from others and learn from them, and have faith that it all works out somehow
I wish everybody a fabulous 2015!
